Tucked away between live-work compounds, possibly Oakland's only lumber-mill, outsider artist's animal/animist statuary, chicken-runs and artisans and machinists fabricating everything from exquisite furniture to traditional Japanese joinery kit homes (from street trees processed by the lumber mill) this minimalist beauty box has arrived.
